Any feeling of calm and relaxation achieved during my visit to the spa was INSTANTLY REMOVED by the frantic energy and claustrophobic atmosphere of the women’s changing room. There is nothing remotely luxurious or high end about the experience and it completely sullied my time at the spa. You’re expected to shove your big winter coat and all your belongings in a tiny locker and put your wet winter boots on the floor where people also walk barefoot (??)When you leave the spa, having to get fully dressed and put your coat and boots on in such a cramped, busy space is ridiculous. And it doesn’t stop there! You’re then expected to be the housekeeper and lug your wet towel and robe up the stairs to the reception. The designers of the facility really dropped the ball on the experience of the changing rooms; its your first and last impression of the spa, and unfortunately at bota bota it really left a bad taste in my mouth.

the most relaxing space i’ve ever been in. the silence on the boat is divine, but i loved having the garden as an option to chat (in low volumes) with my group! particularly loved the city sauna & garden steam room. reserved our Saturday tickets a week in advance — there was a decent amount of people there, but nothing was too crowded / i never had to wait for a spot anywhere. i wish the water circuit was a full day pass instead of three hours — we didn’t want to leave!

The experience was superb with the facility providing different experiences such as hot sauna, river sauna, and 3 different thermal water circuit pools. The massage was excellent and food was tasty and wholesome with better quantity already part of my package. The view was excellent especially in Winter when the lake froze.Removed 1 star just for-1. Moving my reservation for another day without notifying me.2. Adding my email incorrectly because of which I didn’t receive the confirmation email to begin with.

Bota Bota, located in Montreal, is a unique spa designed like a boat, offering a relaxing escape right on the water. I visited on December 24, right before Christmas dinner, and it was the perfect way to unwind during the holiday rush. The winter atmosphere added to the charm, with some saunas providing stunning views of the city while I warmed up inside. The spa features multiple saunas, steam rooms, and jacuzzis, all designed for comfort and relaxation. Each area is peaceful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. One of the highlights was the dining experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, which was a perfect way to recharge before heading off to Christmas festivities.Overall, Bota Bota is a fantastic spot in Montreal for relaxation, great views, and tasty food. It’s an ideal getaway, and I can’t wait to visit again!

I went to Bota Bota last saturday night to celebrate the anniversary with my husband. It was AMAZING! This place is special and particular, the view awesome, the food delicious and big portions. We're happy, it was definitely worth it. Being the first time, we were confused in the beginning, but the staff is kind and very helpful. They give you towels, shower with bath products and lockers. For sure I'll go back even for a nice, relaxing water circuit once in a while.Thank you!

Check- in took longer than most spas I have been to so give yourself extra time. We went on their "social Thursday" where a live jazz band was playing by the bar and pool area (loved it!!) and cellphones were allowed. They also had a BBQ being offered... we indulged in pulled pork which was very good while lounging. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked lovely overlooking the water. Having done some major walking that day our legs were quite sore. Be ready for lots of stairs as there are many levels. The best part of the spa is the view!! Absolutely beautiful ❤️ We found some areas very dark when the sun set around the pool area. Overall it was a great way to end the evening taking in the skyline by the Vieux Port
